EQUIPS programs help you to understand the events, behaviours and decisions that led to your offence. You will learn skills to reduce your risk of reoffending.
EQUIPS programs are run in both the community and in custody.
EQUIPS Foundation
Who is the EQUIPS Foundation program for?
EQUIPS Foundation is a general offender program, available to all eligible offenders regardless of their offence type.
EQUIPS Foundation will help you to develop skills in thinking, linking and reflecting on your own choices and behaviour.
How long is the program?
EQUIPS Foundation has 20 x 2 hour sessions and is typically run over 10 weeks.
EQUIPS Addiction
Who is the EQUIPS Addiction program for?
EQUIPS Addiction is available to all eligible offenders who have an identified addiction, regardless of their offence type. EQUIPS Addiction is designed to address addictive behaviour including drugs, gambling or other problematic behaviours.
EQUIPS Addiction will help you to create goals and to recognise situations that lead to unhelpful behaviour choices such as using drugs or alcohol.
How long is the program?
EQUIPS Addiction has 20 x 2 hour sessions and is typically run over 10 weeks.
EQUIPS Aggression
Who is the EQUIPS Aggression program for?
EQUIPS Aggression is available to eligible offenders who have a current criminal conviction for a violence-related offence.
EQUIPS Aggression is designed to increase your ability to manage difficult situations without becoming aggressive or violent. We will help you make a plan that shows ways to manage your behaviour and reduce your aggression.
How long is the program?
EQUIPS Domestic Abuse has 20 x 2 hour sessions and is typically run over 10 weeks.
EQUIPS Domestic and Family Violence
Who is the EQUIPS Domestic and Family Violence program for?
EQUIPS Domestic and Family Violence is available to eligible offenders who have had a conviction for any form of domestic and family violence – including intimate partner, family, elder and sibling abuse.
EQUIPS Domestic and Family Violence explains abuse and violent behaviour in family and intimate partner relationships. The program will assist you to explore your attitudes and behaviours and accept responsibility for them. It will also assist you to develop skills for respectful relationships. We will help you to make a plan for relationships that are healthy and safe.How long
