Therapeutic Access Portal

Who we are/ What is TAP?

TAP has been developed by Corrective Services NSW to provide information and resources for offenders who are directed to attend a group program or who have recently completed a group program.

Evidence-based group programs have been developed by Corrective Services NSW to help reduce an offender’s risk of re-offending.

Corrective Services NSW runs a range of evidence-based programs. Some programs are only run in correctional centres and some are run in both correctional centres and the community.

Offenders who attend group programs learn strategies to identify what puts them at risk of reoffending and how to develop a plan to change this behaviour.

As part of Corrective Services NSW’s Towards 2030: Strategic Plan, our vision remains focused on delivering a world class correctional service that contributes to making the community safer and enabling people to change their lives for the better. It also challenges the way we operate so we can deliver a transformative experience for every offender.
